Sixteen Leaflets

Reed of grass coupled with sixteen locust leaves is the premier pathling. Surprise shower at six in the morning. Heron by the mill-race, water level decent for fishing again. Heron, no , wait! two herons fly nearby and the heron on the ground has flown across the creek and fishes from the Left Bank.

A pathling and three herons is enough of a catch. Walk 15 minutes out, 15 in, barely a mile and I draw in my net.

Have been using the alarm on my cellular telephone, set every 15 minutes, to retrain myself to stick to tasks. A ringing in my ears persists even when the alarm is between points of alert.
