The morning begins with car talk:
“I was having a little shimmy in the steering wheel…”
“Pretty nice set of blinkers…”
“Always keep a spare…”
and there were five black bears all the way from Lycoming county (snared in photographic form, square brown snouts and all) nary a heron and no pathlings no pick of the litter, just a number 37841 and when I folded a green tee-shirt on my bed this afternoon I regretted to see the number of holes in it, it resembles swiss cheese, my Preserve and Protect shirt from West Virginia that is about 5 years old and has been through an estimated 300 washings retaining its color evenly if not all of its fiber. How to wear and tear through life.
